Memory Robinson

Memory is a shift supervisor with Lee County Communications. She has shown excellent leadership skills and has earned the respect of her coworkers since taking on the responsibilities of her position. She has shown time and time again that she can handle extreme emergencies with professionalism and accuracy. Memory has gone above and beyond too many times to list. She definitely deserves the recognition.

I have worked with Memory for several years now and she is an asset to the field of public safety. She always goes the extra mile to make sure the citizens of Lee county are taken care of, and she does the same with all the first responders being dispatched to calls. We had a call where a subject had decided to take his own life by standing in front of a moving train. Unfortunately the subject was hit by the train. I am the Fire Chief for the Nettleton Volunteer fire department, and we were on scene for over 2 hours locating the remains of the male subject. No matter how busy she was, she always took the time to check on my EMR’s and fire fighters that were on scene and make sure we were ok. Considering the high stress of this type of call it is so nice to know a dispatcher has your back, because they are truly our life line.

Memory is a wonderful supervisor, trainer and dispatcher. She is the calm in the middle of a storm, never one to lose composure and always in control of a situation.
